There's something wrong here.

If you look closely you can see a foot poking through the pajamas. hmmm.

Best Christmas Present Ever!

Kaylin Noelle Kocherhans was born December 24th 7:02am weighing 7 lbs 3 oz. 19 inches long.

This little lady decided to give her mommy a nice Christmas present by arriving right on time. After my appointment on Tuesday I thought for sure I would be waiting until the 30th when I was scheduled to be induced since I hadn't made any progress for two weeks. The next morning I woke up with contractions at 7am and I had contractions all day long until 11:30 pm when we decided they were finally bad enough that we should go to the hospital. I think when we walked in and I was so calm and laid back that the nurses thought they were just going to check me and send me home. I was dilated to a 4 so I was staying and I got my epidural right away (Heaven!!) At about 3am my water broke and by 4 I was fully dilated but they wanted her to drop a little more so we waited another hour til 5 when I started pushing. She would have been her earlier but we had to wait about half an hour for the doctor to arrive. After the doctor got there she was born within about 15 minutes. She is such a sweet baby with so much hair and if we can get her to figure out her nights and days we will be smooth sailing.

Take a look at this....

As some of you know I am currently finishing up my last semester at the University of Utah. (Don't worry I am still a cougar football fan Andy). My degree is in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Fitness leadership. For my degree I have been doing an internship at a company called Total Health and Fitness where I do Nutrition and Exercise consulting. I created a blog to help my clients and anyone else, that has fitness and nutrition tips on it. Take a look and let me know what you think. Also, if there is any particular topics you would like to learn about just leave me a comment on my new blog.

We had a ton of fun just the three of us. We went swimming, played on the strip, and on the day of Janelle's competition they didn't want them doing a lot in the sun so we stayed in our hotel for a while and made a fort. Fun times.

Tuesdays...long, but great days.

Tuesdays are very long days this semester. I left my house today at 5:30am and I didn't get home until 7:30p.m and then I was home for about half an hour and then left again and we just barely got home at 10:15p.m. Not that I am complaining it was a great day, just long.
I had my whole core training class show up today, which always makes me happy. I got to go to my institute class, which I love this semester. There were chips and salsa at the institute (yea for free food). Then I took 2 quizes and I'm pretty sure I did well on both then I went to Capoiera with Tim for the first time. It was a lot of fun even though I didn't really know what I was doing.
Now I'm off to bed for another long day tomorrow. Oh well such is life. All that matters is that you enjoy it. Right?
Oh and I almsot forgot the FRAY's new CD came out today and it is my new favorite.(big suprise, I Know)
WEll that's all for now :)

I've gotten a little behind.

The past few weeks have just flown by for us. I started school again and now I feel like I am constantly running from place to place. I start at 5am since for my final practicum I have to teach two fitness classes for PEAK which is the Faculty and Staff Fitness program at the U. So far it has been a lot of fun. I am teaching Circuit Training and Core Training and it really has shown me how much I really know and it has made me seriously think about continuing on after this semester to teach group fitness. I love the energy that my classes bring and it is a challenge to create a class for all fitness levels and something that everyone will enjoy. Other then teaching classes at 6:30 every morning I am also taking anatomy which I have been putting off until the last possible semester just becuase I know how intensive it will be. I am really excited for the lab though. It starts next week and I can't wait.
Tim is still working at Nippon and he likes it enough. It's a job right. He has also been doing a lot of Capoiera lately. For those of you who have no idea what that is, it is a Brazillian Martial Art which looks a lot like break dancing but much cooler. Here is a little taste of Capoiera. The guy in the black is Tim's instructor.
